4 creative outlets for while you’re stuck at home

Many of us have been cooped up in our home for weeks, and if you’re a visually creative type, you may be struggling with finding a way to stimulate that creative side. Here are some resources that you can use to keep yourself (and your family members!) occupied.

Check out these museums – virtually

For the arts lover, not being able to visit museums for fun and inspiration can be tough. But Google Arts and Culture have you covered. They’ve partnered with several museums so that you can take a virtual tour from the comfort of your couch. Take a look at the tours they have available. Also, check out the Louvre’s own free virtual tour.

Get out your colored pencils

Coloring isn’t just for the kids. It’s been shown to be a relaxing and creative activity that adults can benefit from as well. There are plenty of adult coloring books you can order online, or you can download and print for free right now. Check out some of these free digital designs.

While you’re at it, print and color your own Girl Power coloring page from Smart Girl Marketing!

Spend some time on Pinterest

Pinterest is for so much more than just for saving recipes and arts and crafts projects. It’s a wonderful visual platform where you can curate images and find visual information and inspiration. Take a look through Pinterest and find images that inspire you, that you can use for your next big project or just for fun.

Channel that creativity into a business project

Whether you’re thinking about starting a business, or you’re considering next steps and what your next offer will be in light of the changes happening right now, channel that creativity into something positive and productive. Brainstorm with friends, colleagues, and your network about what’s on your heart and start using this time we have to make things happen!
